Welcome to Chamabondo
Nestled in the heart of the pristine Zambezi National Park, exclusive Chamabondo Tented Camp offers a unique blend of authentic comfort, hospitality, and splendour where one can experience true untamed wilderness.
Zambezi National Park is a national park located upstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. There are two distinctly different sections of this park. The most popular section has a lengthy (50km/31mi) river frontage with photogenic reed islands and bubbling rapids, making it excellent for birding.
Four of Africa’s magnificent Big Five roam with regal grace: Elephant, lion, buffalo, and the elusive leopard. The park’s landscapes are a mosaic of vibrant life, with herds of sable and kudu gracefully wandering, impalas leaping through the savannah, zebras painting the plains with their iconic stripes, and giraffes standing tall against the horizon.
Over 400 species of birds have been recorded within the Zambezi National Park. Pel’s fishing owl, African skimmer, collared palm thrush, lanner falcon, goliath heron, African finfoot, rock pratincole and long-toed lapwing are considered to be among the speciality birds of the park.

This park isn’t just a place; it’s a vibrant ecosystem, a symphony of wildlife, where every creature plays a vital role in the harmonious balance of nature.
